Post Menoupause Management

Like so many of us, we have heard about the ‘change of life’ and been told we just have to deal with it!

For many years, the subject has been taboo, and the only information you received was from watching your mother or Grandmother go through the ‘change.’

Thankfully, the discussion and management of menopause is coming to the forefront. Instead of being told to go away and come back in 12 months if you still have symptoms, we are now able to address the many symptoms, both physical and mental.

Perimenopause, Menopause and Post Menopause are all far more than ‘hot flushes’ Remember, it’s never too late to start managing menopause, regardless of which stage you are currently in.

You are officially post menopause when you have not had a menstrual cycle for more than 12 months, however, that does not mean the end of the symptoms such as on-going brain fog, vaginal dryness, low libido, weight gain and fatigue.

You are also at risk of increased health issues such as osteoporosis, heart disease, frozen shoulders and other concerns!

The good news is that with ongoing support from the Elite Nurse Practitioners, we can assist in navigating these concerns to improve your vitality and health, both physical and mental, and continue your journey to thrive through menopause and beyond.

Initial consultation

During your consultation, the Elite Nurse Practitioner will actively listen to you, discuss your concerns & develop a customised plan, which may include comprehensive hormone testing to guide precise and effective treatments. By the end of the consultation, you will have a clear roadmap to begin your journey of navigating menopause and feeling like yourself!

Review appointment

Engaging in review appointments is essential in navigating your menopause journey, as it allows our Elite Nurse Practitioners to listen to you and evaluate the treatment prescribed, compare results from the comprehensive testing and adjust your prescription as required.
